Christien is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is the practice owner of the White Hart Clinic which opened its doors in 1995. Clinically she specialises in women’s health physio and Ultrasound imaging of the pelvic floor muscles and perineal evaluation.
She treats women who have not fully regained their urinary or bowel control following delivery as well as those mums that appear to make a good recovery but develop bladder or bowel incontinence or organ prolapsed years later. Over the last 8 years Christien has developed a clinical interest in treating and managing women during the peri menopause and beyond as well as tutoring and presenting at menopause events.
Before starting up the clinic, she worked as superintendent physiotherapist at the out-patients department at the Central Middlesex Hospital and as a research coordinator. Christien completed a Masters degree in clinical research methodology from King’s College and has coordinated a large clinical trial looking at the effects of physiotherapy for acute low back pain. Sharon started her physiotherapy journey some 30 years ago, training at Kings College, London, completing her Honours program in physiotherapy. After some years working in the NHS and private practice she embarked on two postgraduate Masters at the University of Queensland, in Australia, in Manipulative Physiotherapy and Sports Physiotherapy. Following this she stayed in Brisbane and developed and expanded several private practises with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. One clinic also included driving a converted motorhome, with 3 treatment rooms, to rural locations, to deliver physiotherapy to a rural community.

Michael qualified from Southampton University with a Podiatry degree in 2006. After qualifying Michael was offered a prestigious position in the local NHS in Southampton where he gained experience in all aspects of podiatry. His main focus is on human movement and analysing people’s gait concentrating on musculoskeletal conditions.
Michael has been lead clinician in the ‘At risk Foot team’ within the NHS, helping prevent mainly diabetic patients from having amputations associated with the complications that diabetes can bring.
